WBBL Schedule 2023: Cricket Australia has come up with the schedule for the 9th edition of Women’s Big Bash League 2023. The league is set to flag off on October 19, 2023. It will be 59 match WBBL fixtures 2023. The first match will be between Sydney Sixers Women and Melbourne Stars Women scheduled at North Sydney Oval, Sydney.
The WBBL cricket schedule is set to become better with the introduction of a vast list of teams and the monster performance by the best teams vying for the top slot. This season will hold the women’s standalone game for the first time at MCG and SCG.
With the new venues and extra matches, the WBBL schedule for 2023 is going to provide the best mix of women’s cricket. Each of the clubs will play 14 group matches and the final match. The final of the match will be held on December 2, 2023.
WBBL 2023 Schedule
The WBBL match schedule in 2023 will see the defending champions, Adelaide Strikers, trying to retain their championship. It may be noticed that the Adelaide Strikers won their first-ever WBBL title in the 8th season in 2022. The WBBL schedule for 2023 is set to have the same eight city-based franchises fighting with each other to become the WBBL champion in 2023.
