The 13th edition of BBL 2023- 2024 will begin on December 7, 2023. It will have 8 teams vying for the top spot by playing 44 matches with each other. The BBL Schedule 2023 involves 40 league matches and four knock-out matches. The league will kickstart with runners-up of the 12th edition, Brisbane Heat, playing against the Melbourne Stars at the Gabba on December 7, 2023.
There has been a slight change in the format of the BBL schedule 2023. In the earlier seasons, the top five teams in the points table were eligible for the knockout stage. In the new format launched this year, BBL will have the top four teams playing in the knockout stage.
